Week 4 Rankings

In week 3, LaSalle beat West Catholic, despite with their best RB and WR sitting on the sidelines with injuries. Prep couldn't be a giant killer three weeks in a row as they lost convincingly to District 1 powerhouse, North Penn. West Catholic played tough against #1 LaSalle, Judge still hasn't ramped it up yet, playing a not so great team from upstate. O'Hara, who at one time would play the best in the region, now is happy playing a bad Pub team and a couple of AAA teams in the preseason. Washington and Frankford continue to prove why they are at the top of the food chain in the Philly Pub. North and Wood are neck and neck, but Wood gets the nod due to being the state runner up in 2008. Roman is still looking for their groove, and re-gaining some PCL respect. The top 10

District 12 Top Ten for Week 4

1. LaSalle 3-0 (1) - Beat #3 West Catholic 16-14. Squeaked by West Catholic, but stays on top due to Prep loss.
2. Prep 2-1 (2) - Lost to North Penn 28-14. Four straight tough games to start the season. We'll see how they do this week.
3. West Catholic 2-1 (3) - Lost to #1 LaSalle 16-14. Impressive showing against LaSalle keeps them at #3.
4. Father Judge 3-0 (4) - Beat Pocono Mtn East 43-20. Not impressed with preseason schedule, but O'Hara doesn't play top AAAA teams either.
5. Cardinal O'Hara 3-0 (5) - Beat #9 North Catholic 23-6. Need to thump Bonner to have chance of moving up in rankings
6. Washington 2-1 (6) - Beat CB East 35-14. Washington continues to play non-District 12 teams and they are winning.
7. Frankford 1-2 (7) - Beat Lincoln 35-0. Two tough losses to tough D1 teams and a thumping of Lincoln (as expected)
8. Wood 1-2 (8) - Beat Ryan 17-7. Toss up between North and Wood.
9. North Catholic 1-2 (9) - Lost to #5 O'Hara 23-6. See Wood comments above
10. Cardinal Dougherty 3-0 (NR) - Honorary top 10 team. Undefeated after week 3 for the first time in like forever. Gotta love the Cardinals.
Under Consideration - Bishop McDevitt, Bok (3-0), Monsignor Bonner (2-1), Roman Catholic (1-2), Northeast (1-2)
